Text Box: Text Box: Please come and support your fellow members at the Early Morning minyan if you can.  It is sometimes difficult to get a minyan on a cold morning at this time of the year, especially as some of our regulars are away.



The Association of Jewish Refugees (AJR) hold a monthly meeting at EMS.  Starting at 2.00pm their afternoon includes a speaker and ends with tea.  All refugees, descendents and survivors are welcome to attend the meetings with a view to joining the AJR.  


The last Shabbat of each month:  Nosh N’Drosh  - Tea, chat and  informal study of modern issues through Jewish eyes.

Text Box: Did you know that we have a Social Club for Over 60s at Edgware Masorti?  The Club meets on a Thursday and you are invited to join them either at 11.30am when they chat or play kalookie until lunch and then from 1.30pm-3.30pm they have speakers or entertainers.  You are welcome just to come for the afternoon session if you wish.

EMS ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – Monday 6th June 2011.  8.00pm at EMS.   Refreshments will be served following the meeting as well as the opportunity to take part in a debate about the future direction of the Synagogue:  “Masorti in the 21st Century - a chance to hear the facts and debate the future of our Movement with Rabbi Collick”

MAKE YOUR OWN SUSHI - AN EVENING WITH A DIFFERENCE - on Wednesday 18th May.   A one-off lesson at the Shul.  7.30pm.  £15 (includes sushi ingredients).

CALLING ALL PARENTS WITH CHILDREN IN PRIMARY SCHOOL! This summer Noam is running Kaytana, their brand new summer scheme for children in school years Reception-Year 5. Held  in Shenley from 1st-12th August 2011, Kaytana is perfect for children too young to go away but who don't want to miss out on fun Noam activities in the summer! Packed with exciting activities including outings, sleepovers and a two day Shabbaton for the older children, Kaytana will be full of educational and fun programmes delivered in the safe, inclusive environment that Noam does so well.   APPLICATIONS FORMS COME OUT AT THE BEGINNING OF APRIL.
